Core Features & Construction

  • Construction: Employs a core of cross-grained, 11-layer Baltic Birch plywood or 3-ply structures. This cross-layering prevents the planks from expanding, contracting, or warping during natural humidity and temperature changes.

  • Wear Layer: Typically features a thick hardwood wear layer (often 4 mm or more), allowing the floors to be sanded and refinished multiple times just like solid hardwoods.

  • Versatility: Can be safely installed on any level of the home (including basements and over concrete subfloors) and works seamlessly with radiant heating systems.

    Species & Finishes

  • Wood Species: Available in domestic hardwoods like Red Oak, White Oak, Hickory, Ash, Walnut, and Maple.

  • Textures: Offers multiple surface treatments, including:

    • Smooth: Classic and uniform.

    • Wire-Brushed: Highlights the natural grain by texturing the surface for a sophisticated, slightly rustic look.

    • Hand-Scraped: Individual plank scraping creates a character-rich, antiqued visual.

Ecological & Health Profile

  • Eco-Friendly: Harvested from sustainable sources, these floors feature very low to zero Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions, contributing to better indoor air quality.
