Superior Engineered Flooring
Core Features & Construction
Construction:Â Employs a core of cross-grained, 11-layer Baltic Birch plywood or 3-ply structures. This cross-layering prevents the planks from expanding, contracting, or warping during natural humidity and temperature changes.
Wear Layer:Â Typically features a thick hardwood wear layer (often 4 mm or more), allowing the floors to be sanded and refinished multiple times just like solid hardwoods.
Versatility:Â Can be safely installed on any level of the home (including basements and over concrete subfloors) and works seamlessly with radiant heating systems.Â
Species & Finishes
Wood Species:Â Available in domestic hardwoods like Red Oak, White Oak, Hickory, Ash, Walnut, and Maple.
Textures:Â Offers multiple surface treatments, including:
Smooth:Â Classic and uniform.
Wire-Brushed:Â Highlights the natural grain by texturing the surface for a sophisticated, slightly rustic look.
Hand-Scraped:Â Individual plank scraping creates a character-rich, antiqued visual.Â
Ecological & Health Profile
Eco-Friendly:Â Harvested from sustainable sources, these floors feature very low to zero Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions, contributing to better indoor air quality.
